Active Week got off to a busy start as senior pupils represented our school in the 7-a-side hurling final in The Gaelic Grounds. We are extremely proud of our super finalists.
All pupils enjoyed cycling and rugby with Jim Kissane, whilst the lads from St. Michael’s soccer completed a great training session with us.
We had a lovely visit from our friends in Cloverfield NS and Mrs.O’Dea, and enjoyed spike ball, soccer and dodge ball. Also, the ladies from Limerick Sports Partnership taught us some fun running and ball games!
Sports Day
The highlight of our Sports Day was most definitely 6th class pupils soaking the teachers, followed by our yummy Ice cream party in aid of Down’s Syndrome Ireland which raised an amazing €236.95.
Many thanks to Centra, Pallasgreen for their donation of treats. Presentation of fabulous engraved medals, kindly sponsored by our friends at Knockane GAA, rounded off an extremely Active Week!
